Moody monster. Should I have used this instead of White Spaghetti Cowboy? I know some guys like the moodies, but some guys don't, so I didn't go with it.
Also in regards to cutting ratings for sound quality - consider we're judging the performance, not the transfer, and that in an ideal world we could deliver the acetate or tape to someone for a professional job. People are posting unheard, unreleased music from all kinds of sources, including home tapes and transfers, so give it some slack.
5 - what the hell is that organ? Love this!

of 'Lookin' for girls' fame? It's an accordion. The Pharaohs "Rich To Rags" (Rochester, NY)
of 'Lookin' for girls' fame?
So, should we start up a thread for Garage 45s with accordian?Yes, same band. The master tape I found had 5 Pharaohs tracks, all great but Lookin For Girls is the best. All the songs feature the accordion.
Rich To Rags (posted here)
I Knew You Lied To Me (posted here)
Lookin' For Girls (on G45 Unwaxed)
Isle Of Love (on Norton acetate comp)
The Mummy (instrumental)
Bosshoss LightMyFire: 6 (awesome!)
I don't know but to transform that song into a real garage tune, devoid of any hippie connotations, without changing the chords or melody, that is close to alchemy. And I really like it, the vocals, the guitar, the tambourine. Very cool! You recognise the awesomeness of The Young Tyrants!
I'm bored.
Time for my entry #5.
