i'm generally not too excited by any R.E. label releases, their comps always have a few solid monsters on each, but as much as i love the late 60's to early 80's 'bonehead' lo-fi hard rock sound the R.E. discs are dominated by way too many clean/exact cops of famous Brit stoner bands or even worse some have AOR-ish/Van Haleny sounding stuff - too many ZEP wannabe's, too much "studio pro" polish, and not enuff Stooge-ian Blue Cheer worshipping fuzz mongers
