Info on Long Island Rale Road

Hi Guys,
A few weeks ago I found a promo copy of a garage 45 by a group called Long Island Rale Road, with an A-Side titled "Think Love". Has this 45 been known for awhile? I see that 45cat recorded it and posted it recently but it is so goddamn badass that I can't imagine this is just now coming to light.

Again, a mediocre to slightly better than average disc, according to the ratings awarded in TeenBeat Mayhem! I would qualify the term "badass" to represent a song truly deserving; a title that scored at least a 7 out of 10!

The record has been known to longtime collectors. A solid $30-50 tops disc, in either pressing version - the white label / red print text promo copy which shows a New Jersey address, and the aqua-green with black text stock copy.
In recent times, I've seen this disc affixed with high "asking" prices ($200!) that do not merit the musical worth, or the reflect the fact that it really is not a rare 45. It still surfaces here in the NY/NJ/CT area. I just had a spare that sat unsold for two years, I gave it to someone as part of a trade deal.

Thanks for the info! TeenBeat Mayhem aside, I'd still say it's a pretty damn good song, even if it is not ranked as such. Many 45s ranked high don't sound as good as this to my ears.

I think the vocals sound like a cross between Ira from Yo La Tengo and Lou Reed.
