JOHNNY THUNDERS. So Alone (1978) one of my all time heros. Johnny is the man and my life is light years better just owning this one. Guitar slinger in the legendary N.Y. Dolls. If I get more than 5 likes for this monster, I'll be surprised as F! Pay attention to track #5 Leave Me Alone, its to die for!

Here's a live version of Chatterbox, the NY Dolls original version of Leave Me Alone. This is truly wild. Thunders/Nolan/Sylvain/Kane at their peak.

Xavier Escovedo used to perform a cool cover of "Chatterbox" back in the '80s when The True Believers were
Austin's leading three-guitar live band.

Why surprised? It's great timeless RnR. "You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory" is maybe the best rock ballad ever. I would think most of us here are aware of that 🤓!

Though i still haven't heard Actress, i'd say this is the best thing Thunders ever did. Just amazing performances and incomparable songwriting. Had he been able to lose the junk problems, imo he could've been as big as The Replacements or some 80's band like that
