Hi there,
I'm searching for info on Julian Records, a label active in the '60s and early '70s in Wenatchee Washington.

I've spent months and months finding everything online and now I'm hoping that you guys might know some things that haven't ever made it online!

I'm searching for all the information (as well as the releases) so that , in a few years, I can donate it all to the EMP Museum in Seattle. They already have a massive collection of NW music and NW music history, but nothing on Julian Records. I'm from Wenatchee, and I'm one of the few (if not the only person) that sees this stuff as something that needs to be saved!

With the help of a few collectors and historians, I've been able to figure out the label's full catalog.

J-100 Blane & The Julians - Go On b/w Don't Say No No
J-101 Judd Hamilton & the Furies - I'm Not Around Anymore b/w Little Lost Angel
J-102 Blane Gifford - It Doesn't Matter b/w Someday, One Day
J-103 Linda Jo & the Nomads - Stop Your Cryin' b/w Just Like You
J-104 Billy & the Kids - It's Not the Same b/w Say You Love Me
J-105 The Talismen/Debbie & Gaylis - She Was Good b/w My Life Is So Lonely
J-106 The Chargers - Taxi b/w I'm So Alone
J-107 New Folk - Beautiful Story b/w That's Where I'm Bound
J-108 The Talismen - I'll Take A Walk b/w I Know A Girl
J-109 Billy & the Kids - When I See You b/w Do You Need Me
J-110 The Aztecs - World of Woe b/w Why Can't You Tell Me
J-111 Frank Cook & the Night Raiders - Just Wishing b/w People Ask Me
J-112 Bob Gifford & the Joint Return - Nancy Darling b/w Blame It On A Woman
J-113 The Stardusters featuring Stevie Leal - Get Away Girl b/w Miss You Darling
J-114 Frank Cook & the Nightraiders - They Don't Pick Cotton In Chicago b/w Sailor's Lament

If you have any info on the artists (that isn't already online), the releases or where to find them I really appreciate the help.

Help me save some amazing music!

I don't mean to spoil your efforts but I have zero incentive to help the EMP....believe me, they will not give a crap. I know someone who knows Judd Hamilton, he was from western Washington. The record's pretty good.

No worries, I appreciate the input. In all honesty the EMP isn't a set deal for me, it's just the only place that my young mind is aware of that could preserve all this. I know one of the curator's there so that's why I thought of the EMP first. If I find another/better place I will of course go with them.

I have heard quite of a lot of negative comments directed towards the EMP, but have never delved any deeper. If you don't mind sharing, I'd be interested to hear the bad experience you had with them.

And if you know of a better place I could donate all this too... send it my way!
