The newly released Knight Raiders vinyl record featuring two original songs (recorded in 1967) “Hang it Up” and “Love Without Words,” is now available for sale here and on eBay. The release of this fabulous 45 was originally listed back in December on another thread about the Knight Raiders and their mystery acetate. I am now listing it here on G45 Supermarket for the benefit of those members and non-member who may not have seen the original thread.

You can preview the two songs on YouTube –

If you would like to purchase a copy of the record, send me a PM or go to eBay at

Each record is $15 plus shipping, which is generally between $4 and $5 in the US and Australia. Shipping to all other locations will be calculated upon request. This is a limited release, so don’t delay and buy a copy or two today. Discounts are available for purchases of two or more records (see eBay for the discount rates).

Attention all the young dudes still looking for that perfect Father's Day Gift. Why not give the aging hippie something he will cherish forever and remind him why he's still stuck in the sixties? ✌️

That's right, I'm talking about the recently released limited edition of the 1967 Knight Raiders 45 vinyl featuring their one-and-done hit, "Hang it up!" and "Love Without Words." Available here (pm me) and on eBay. And if that's not enough, volume discounts are available for one low shipping fee. While you're at it, why not get a copy for yourself and save.

“Hang It Up is Incredible. As for comparisons, Paul Revere & The Raiders may be great, but the Knight Raiders are pure genius! “ -Bosshoss, G45 Central Music Forum .

This 45 RPM Vinyl Record is being released in honor of one of my favorite 1960s garage band, “The Knight Raiders” and to celebrate the 55th anniversary of their never-released hit song, "Hang It Up (I Don't Want to Hear It.)"

Available directly from me (via PM) or on eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/2359751395...9EC8IsvQI6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Happy Father's Day!

Well, Father's Day came and went, but don't let that be an excuse to wait until the next holiday to get your own copy of the Knight Raiders 1967 original recordings "Hang It Up" and "Love Without Words." Excellent listening for those summer parties or quite evenings adrift in past memories while sipping a fine beverage. Available here (via PM) or on eBay (Link in above post.)

I forgot to mention that the Knight Raiders 45 is also available at DIG! Records & Vintage, located in Leesburg, Virginia, U.S.A. A great place to brows about a vast inventory of vintage vinyl records. The shop is owned and operated by members of the Ar-Kaics band. Check it out next time you are in the Leesburg area. -TJ

Update! Just in time for Christmas - I slashed the price of the record to $12 per unit from now until the new year! With your purchase you will also receive a link where you can download a digital file of the two songs - the same digital files used to produce the record.

And remember, I can ship 5, possible more, records for one low shipping cost within the continental U.S. - usually between $4 and $5.

Available from me directly or on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/2359751395...9EC8IsvQI6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

This is a shout-out to our newest member Wicked Wiggler who took advantage of the Year-End-Sale and bought multiple copies of the Knight Raiders vinyl 45, featuring "Hang It Up' and "Love Without Words." Good luck spreading the 1967 garage sound of the Knight Raiders throughout the wonderful land of Switzerland. All the best, Steve

[The following message was also posted on the original thread by Mr. Raven about the Knight Raiders and their 1967 acetate]

Well, it’s been one year since I first listed the Knight Raiders 45 RPM vinyl record for sale on G45Central Forums. The record was the result of an ambitious project intended to introduce the Knight Raiders to the world and to make a vinyl record of the two original 1967 songs. In the words of Bosshoss, the objective of the project was to ensure the Knight Raiders songs are immortal and take their rightful place in ‘60s rock n roll history. WOW! HOW COOL IS THAT! And based on the world-wide response to the record, I'd say - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

So now, I would like to take a moment to thank all of you for your support and encouragement to share some stories about the Knight Raiders and to press their two songs in vinyl. I would also like to thank all the many members and guest who purchased the record – either directly from me or on eBay. But most of all, I would like to give a special thanks to Mike the Raven for getting the whole thing started when he posted about a mystery acetate he came across while researching for an article on garage bands (which is how I discovered G45 Central); Leonard Schwab, former record label owner and music promoter, who kindly allowed us to use his pristine acetate to digitize the two songs (now a part of the Bosshoss’ vintage library); and Mark Taylor who played a crucial role in the making of the vinyl record with his supernatural audio skills, by designing the record cover, and supporting me throughout the project. I could not have done without your support.

And for all those who are not familiar with the Knight Raiders and their two original songs recorded in 1967, you can read all about them in a thread started by The Raven at the following link - https://g45central.xenforo.cloud/threads/knight-raiders-edgewood-studios-acetate.5218/post-53609

Also, I’ve decided to extend the Holiday Sale - $12 plus $4.00/$5.00 shipping in the USA - for another few weeks. You can purchase the record from me via PM or on eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/2359751395...9EC8IsvQI6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Each purchase includes a link to digital versions of the songs for download. Signed copies available upon request.

I’d like to close this year-end post by saying how much fun it’s been being part of the great G45Central community and sharing my stories about my time as the drummer for the Knight Raiders (1966 – 1968).

Thanks again for all your support and I hope everyone has a joyful and prosperous New Year!

All the best in 2025!

Steve

Dang! eBay took down my listing for the Knight Raiders 45!

Yesterday I modified my eBay listing for the Knight Raiders record that had been available on eBay for over a year. The purpose of the revision was to remove all references to the 2024 Holiday Sale. But almost immediately after I made the revisions, the listing was flagged by an AI bot as being in noncompliance with eBay rules regarding sales outside of eBay. Huh? Now a warning? As a result, the listing is no longer viewable on eBay until I revise it.

Now, while the listing itself did not make a direct offer to sell outside of eBay, links included in the listing (YouTube and G45central) did contain the names and links to other places where the record can be purchased - G45central, Discogs and Dig! Records & Vintage in Leesburg, Va. So, at great pain, I removed all references to those three sources for the record at the linked websites (for now) but left the YouTube link in the eBay listing so folks can listen to the two songs on YouTube before buying the 45.

So, if you tried to purchase the record on eBay recently but could not find the listing, it should be back up soon. In the meantime, you can still buy the record directly from me via PM (members only) or at Discogs and Dig! Records & Vintage brick and mortar shop in Leesburg, Va.

BTW, I decided to leave the holiday price of $12 per record in affect for a while longer. So, this is a good time to purchase a copy or two. And remember, I can ship up to 5 (possible more) records for just over $4.00 within the continental US. International shipping will be calculated upon request.

I appreciate your patience and thanks again to all those members and non-members who have already purchased the record.

Quick Update! After several failed attempts to revise my eBay listing by removing all links to outside websites except for the YouTube link, I was finally able to speak with a real live eBay Agent.... It's a Christmas Miracle! She noticed that the listing still had three links (DOH!) - one link to YouTube and two others to Vocaroo.com. that I overlooked when revising the listing. She said it was eBay's policy not to allow links to external sites. Really? I've been doing it for years at TJCoro's eBay Channel with no problems.

Anyway, after explaining to her the importance of the YT link to facilitate sales, I agreed to delete the Vocarro.com links, but leave the YT link in place. She said it was worth a try, but if it didn't work, I could always appeal. Well sir, as I was preemptively submitted an appeal, I noticed I had received an email from eBay 20 minutes earlier after talking with the agent - My revised listing with the YT link was approved! DANG! With my luck, the appeal I just submitted will gum-up the works and my listing will once again be removed. Maybe not.

So, at least for now, the listing is once again visible on eBay, but all you non-members out there interested in buying a copy or two of the Knight Raiders 45 better get moving before the listing is removed again. Of course, members can always buy directly from me via PM, which is an excellent reason for non-members to join this bodacious platform.

A few weeks ago, while as I was doing an internet search for my old band mates, something I do periodically, I came across some sad news – Jim Fetrow, the original lead singer for the Knight Raiders, passed away on September 19, 2018, after a 2 1/2-year battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer. He was 69 years old. Jim was a hunter, wood craftsman and, of course, a music enthusiast. He was also known worldwide for his expertise in the sport of Traditional Archery.

Even though I only saw Jim a few times after the band broke up in 1968, I have fond memories of him, especially the cold, wintry day in February 1967 when we went to Edgewood Studios in Washington, D.C., to record two original songs. I’ve always considered Jim a friend and will miss him very much. Rest in Peace, Jim.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to read about the Knight Raiders, I wrote several pages about the band at the following link:
