Let's guess the tracklist for the new Teenage Shutdown!

Oooh, that's nice to know as far as the songs being released next year. I remember reading a short mention about that 45 over at the old G45 forums. It appealed to me so much, that I saved it in a text file!

"The Lords - She's Mine / Goofy Foot (Vance) - (Killer Grave-worthy punker, but there are 2 known copies now both vg- or worse)"

I look forward to hearing it! :D
The copy I sold Barry was Near Mint, they just play like crap. That's why the band trashed most of them.

Two fantastic songs I'd love to see/hear on the next TS:

The Things - Jazz-Rock With Soul (Ray Pro)
The Blacksheep - I Told You (Bellcor)

The Crater soda commercial was included on an early BFTG. It was deleted from later pressings. The vocal sorta sounded as I imagine Bob Nolan would after running through 30 or 40 takes of The Crusher.

The Lords will be on a Contra Costa County comp, the sequel to You Got Yours. Some
killer unreleased shit! Alec's been busy doing soul and funk stuff and hanging
with the brothers but next year he said there will be a bunch of garage comps
coming out that he has been stockpiling, as well as the Seeds upgrades. Oh yeah
there will be vinyl things - didn't you get the Rationals LPs and the Seeds 10"?

Maybe a pity...To my ears Savoys "Work It Out" is a major uncompiled killer and a real grower. I'm sure it would fit right in most any TS or BFTG.

A guy from Chicago is putting copies of this on ebay every couple of months . Does anybody know where they originate from and how many of them were found ?

Rationlas LP's? I must be out of some loop here... which LP's? The Fan Club LP? I only have a burn of that one and I think it's a real solid local garage record. Scott Morgan stayed in Stockholm for a while when he was singing in The Solution, and he hung out at my regular place so we got to know each other. He said he used to have copies at his mom's place but they had all got lost...

I guess I have!
As I have most of their 45s + an old cdr of the Fan Club LP I guess haven't been paying any attention... looks like real fine releases!

The Luv Wons - "Please Don't"
Just included on the third volume of the Psychedelic States series dedicated to New York

The Lords - "She's Mine" (Vance) - an absolute must, but my copy is pretty bad - 2 known copies
Is the same band who released "One Of These Days" on Zero?

OK, go with the unknown stuff but what's about cuts which were already comped (wasn't one of the purpose of the TS series make available and improve soundwise "many "famous" 45's that sound like s*** on older comps")?
Here is a few tracks I'd like to see included:

John English III - I Need You Near (is this the right time?)
Circus - Burn Witch Burn
Whatt Four - Our Love Should Last Forever
Mojos - Go
Id - Rotten Apple

The Crater soda cut is Monoman and some of Erik L.s pals

There's a 60s record called Crater Soda...I think it's by the Thunderbirds on Ermine. I've not heard the one on BFTG so I don't know if they are the same. I haven't heard the 60s one in a long time either.

Excellent idea and a sort of beat the boots. And it would certainly justify many more volumes of TS. Grown to be perhaps my favourite series over the years. But I can certainly remember it was a bit overwhelming when they were released in bulks over a short period of time. Where to start was the general consenus amongst my friends and a lot of them lost interest due to the sheer volume. Such is the fickle mind of the general, non-collecting, garage fan. I am including myself in this generalization.

I was the same but earlier this Summer I completed my Teenage Shutdown collection with "Move It" sub title 'Frantic Frat-Stomp Fracas!'
