I still want to know, from the anyone who was in, Scorpio Tube.

I got contacted by Fred Cadena's (singer, guitar) brother some months ago thru YouTube.
I think Fred's deceased. If you want I can put you in contact with the bro.

Thanks! But I have already been in contact with his brother. I remember that he had a website with pictures and information about Fred, think that I made a thread and linked it here also...He also made a connection to 20th Century Zoo, don't remember how he made it.

Did Fred Cadena had anything to do with Scorpio Tube...?

Fred Cadena was a member of 50th Anniversary Zoo, from San Diego.
He was not a member of, or involved with Scorpio tube, which was strictly a studio project from 1970

According to his brother, he saw Fred writing the lyrics to Yellow Listen (though he's not credited).
I don't see any reason for him to outta nowhere mention such an obscure project if he didn't knew something.
But what would I know...

Texas:
Things ("My Love" on DJ)

Unknown state:
Wild-Ones ("Please" on Tiger Productions)

A band member was killed in a car accident not long after the record came out. I have a M- copy of the record.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT AND I GREW UP IN GROVE CITY PA WHEN THEY EXISTED. I HAVE DISCUSSED THIS 45/BAND WITH MY FRIENDS THERE AND NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THEM ALTHOUGH SOMEONE IN THE BAND WAS FROM GROVE CITY. IN OUR 1965 YEARBOOK THERE IS A PHOTOO OF A GUY PLAYING HIS GUITAR, SO WE THINK HE MAY HAVE BEEN IN THE IMPACTS BUT WHEN ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE HIM WE FOUND OUT HE WAS DECEASED. I HOPE TO FIND ONE IN A YARD SALE IN GROVE CITY/FRANKLIN.

I don't know where the info is coming from (sometimes it is faulty memory) but 50th Anniversary Zoo did not become Scorpio Tube. There us a full three year span between both 45s anyway.
Scorpio Tube musicians were based in and nearby Hollywood.
The lead player on Yellow Listen is the son of a famous symphony musician guy, Conn thought his name is Gary Rose. Conn played the echoplexed rhythm guitar and sang. A studio drummer and bass player were brought in for the recording.
Conn never mentioned continuing to play with Fred Cadena after HS graduation when I spoke with him in 2011. Most of the 50th anniversary Zoo guys graduated in '69.

Not from me :) This is the note I wrote about 50th Anniversary Zoo:

Slow raw grinder by a bunch of SD high school kids. At least one of 'em later had a studio project called Scorpio Tube and had one classic psych 45 out, "Yellow Listen" in 1970 on the same label.
