Lots of Girl Group / Girl Garage records on the market right now

hey guys,

i've seen a lot of girl group / girl pop /girl r&b / doo wop / girl garage records on the market lately, including a couple of really hot titles that turn up rarely. then, tefteller had a "girl" auction, the recent merrill list is circa 90% female or at least female fronted singles.

was there any big collection being sold off? if yes, do we know whose collection that was?

Can't say about Tefteller, but I'm pretty certain Frank Merrill's offerings weren't from any specific collection unless he was culling down his collection.

Got a couple of good ones from that - Chiquita "Father In Law" and a nice early rocker on VanDan.
