Yikes! while searching for more info on Me And The Other Guys on Hinda my google inquiries randomly turned up this article about local music promoter Marty Wade who booked tonsa hep teen bands in upstate NY including The Sensations aka The Heathens on Vibra

The article is decent, but its the photos here that are truly *mind blowing* . If yr style gods are the crazy wombats who starred in that 1967 Croton-On-Harmon Battle Of The Bands short film you MUST check this article's photos - i swear to god, Napoleon Dynamite was a member of the band Revelation(!!)

p.s., i still know absolutely nothing about Me And The Other Guys accept that they made a killer dirgey garage pop 45 called 'i dont care' on a label called Hinda; its production is kinda overdriven/lo-fi, instrumentation is guitar/bass/drums/vokes/organ but the songwriting seems to have a Spectorish/late period Zombies feel

Excuse my poor sense of humor, but the idea of one of the pillars of German philosophy writing a a song called "I Don't Care" kept me smiling for a while. Better than Kant writing "Can't Sit Down" or Engels doing "I'm a Wild Angel". If Monty Python ever wanted a go at a g45 version of this...

I knew you'd be stoked for this Chris, alotta these folks are probly still livin in the Capital City region sittin on tonsa one-of-a-kind reels and other wylde ephemera
