May The Golden Toad Of Happiness Be In Your Shoe Forever

still got ages until I decide to get a stamp press made up....does anyone know of any good old style fonts??... i've gone through them all, can't find a decent typeset, weirdly the one I used was a recommended 60s typewriter font.

I have to have .com sadly

nope Im keeping the .com, these business cards will only go into 100 copies of the 500 LP's.... I'm gonna do an old type poster too.

I need someone with 60s font knowledge to help me out.

Thanks Mr Splendid, I only need one decent and authentic font.

WOW... they cost some serious money... could get a killer 45 for that amount of cash.

The fonts used in 60s graphic design are mostly very classical ones. The trick is not to use only one, and not to use too many. Then there is the option of using so called "retro" fonts like the ones Mr. Splendid mentioned. It depends on how you want to be: very authentic or more from a neo-garage point of view.

I gave it a shot, hope I can upload the pictures so you can see.

Obviously, using a vintage paper background for the design helps a lot, too! Hehe. But paper really is important, this one has a little structure which will be hard to find for a reasonable price. Also you should opt for offset printing, but this will cost a lot too. If you like the design or have any questions, feel free to contact me and I can send you the fonts. Hope you still got my E-Mail address.

Cheers,

WOW... what the hell.

classic garage is the way forward, neo garage is not for me.... I don't have your email address as it isn't saved in my account, email me at [email protected]

The way I will be printing these business cards, is via a rubber stamp and ink, so I will be getting the card printed onto a stamp.... the card used will be card I will purchase from an art shop, I will be trying to find a vintage looking stock.

I do like the "classic" design a lot..... it made me smile.
