Mind Destruction: Artifacts From The Psychedelic Dungeon (Volume Three)

I don't know either, but it has a UK aura, since the leaflet refers to "our American cousins". Volume 1 of the same series is better, featuring The Factory, The Creation, Mike Stuart Span, Jimmy Page, Pink Floyd and other UK freakbeat/psych winners.

The booklet included with Volume 1 specifically says :

"This is not a bootleg, it's a public service"

Personally, I agree with Joey.

My buddy Gary Yoder (lead singer for Kak & Oxford Circle) is pissed and Ace records is pissed and Concord Music Group (owner of Fantasy is pissed) That's 3 strikes fuckers!

You bootleg Pink Floyd...you're going down.:flush:

no, mid 90s, from what I recall. Somehow I always attributed them to a southeast England PSYCHOtic scene, if you know what I mean, but forgot where that sentiment stems from. I actually liked these when they cam out esp the first UK focussed one.

Dunno why people knock the bootleggers so much. If it wasn't for the likes of Greg Shaw - and Tim Warren might I add - there would not have been a sixties garage bandwagen for the legitimate labels to jump on. Besides which, legitimate releases only account for a fraction of what's out there, and never will lead to anywhere near a comprehensive reissue sixties garage. Maybe it's just those who have had the inclination, opportunity, and resourses to spend their lives acquiring monumental record collections (with the help of bootlegs as a "reference", I might add), who get all self-righteous about bootlegs: expecting everyone else to simply grow old and pass-away while waiting to hear all these musical gems get reissued or released through the proper channels.
