This will not be everybody's cup of tea... Sounds like it is from the late 60's. This may be a band from California as the guy I bought the tapes from was head of Fantasy Promotions starting in Late 1968-1972. He was based I believe in Oakland at the time.

No Info on the tape box and this is the lone song. Song titled Ice Cream Man. Anyone have any leads on who it might be?

Just played it for Alec, he's the authority on all things Fantasy and he's not familiar with it...We both like it.
White singer, black girl backing vocals and cool little fuzzy leads. Cool...;)

Seeing that Alec is a Fantasy Authority.. I only got a few tapes from the Fantasy Days. I do however have a few tapes of Brother Nigel's Proxy Party, do you know if they only released the 1 45? I have a tape from the writer Dave Gray that has a few songs on it and another tape of Brother Nigel Live at Los Angeles Hourbor Collage in 1969 with a 6 or 7 originals on it. I have not listened to them yet.

Also I have a tape with 2 tracks by Merl Sanders, 2 tracks by Brother Nigel and 2 Tracks by Dragonfly ( Both tracks seam to be on there Megaphone lp, but I haven't checked to see if is the same versions.) I have never seen a 45 by Dragonfly on Fantasy or its subsidiaries? Maybe they were gonna release it and it got shelved.
