I've got a couple of songs on a CD-r I was making myself that I have no info on now. A little background on this:
When I sold the bulk of my psych/garage 45s a little over 10 years ago, I made myself a set of CD-r comps first. I continued adding some as I found ones after, plus a friend was lending me a bunch of his to add.
16 is my lucky number, so Volume 16 became one for favorite newer ones that gradually came in (actually started around Volume 12 or 13 when I scored a copy of the Mood "In the Amber Fields").
Just before the pandemic hit, my old laptop futzed out on me. The song info was on there, and typical of me, I was lax on doing back-ups, and when the laptop went down, I lost the song info. Not long after, I worked on identifying them. Most were figured out easily as I knew the ones I'd had and my friend ID'ed the ones he provided.
There were two that he said weren't his and he had no clue on what they were, saying they had to be mine. I insisted they weren't because I'd know them or at least have had some cognition of them. So, I'm hoping someone here will recognize the, They're both on the heavy psych side, with one being an odd dirge, the other having a Hendrix sound.
I just recently finished the volume amd finalized the disc so the sound is now uploadable.
I'm just uploading them to my SoundCLoud account then I'll post the links. Thanks for any help and enjoy the tunes of course.
