Hey all - Took a few months off to figure what I wanted to do with my southern Colorado vinyl blog - only to discover that folks wanted me to expand it to include obscurities from ALL of Colorado. So, I'm up for the challenge.

First up is a post about an early 1950s Band Box record. To my surprise, all of the Colorado record collectors who would know about this label had never heard of this disc. This is one of the reasons I love writing about this stuff - accidently discovering something about a record that had previously not been uncovered.

Enjoy! http://www.northofpueblo.com

Oh my, well off the top of my head:

Orlie and the Saints - Washington Twist and Freeze
Lee Chandler and the Blue Rhythms - That's the Way
Dave and The Saints - Leavin' Surf City
The Lidos - Since I Last Saw You
Freddie and the Hitch-hikers - Sinners

...just to name a few.

A great read! Thanks for posting. I´m not sure I´d want Daddy Ed to read for my kids. Something about the impassioned and hurried delivery that is off. Or maybe it´s just the bourbon in his blood talking.
