I think this is pretty new, just got my copy last week. You can find them listed on ebay, being sold by the author Peter Markmann. This edition has the A-Z discography of Aussie garage/beat 45s with quality and rarity ratings, plus the interviews and articles that were in the original Kommotion vol 2. The discography has been updated in a few ways - individual artists are now listed by surname rather than first; flips are now included even if they suck (previous edition only listed good tracks. Now weak sides are included in very small point size); there is a "V" symbol to let you know if original video of the song is around (e.g. Youtube). So overall a decent upgrade and of course a good deal for anyone who missed out on the first edition. The discography still has lots of label scans included, however these are B&W rather than the colour of the first edn. Front and back cover are colour. Print quality, design and layout are all very good.

Thank you for the tip, just ordered one. Limited edition of 80! Will make a nice companion piece to the upcoming Nuggets style comp.

I spent about 50 hours helping him put together the discography for that book. I didn't expect any money for that, but he didn't give me so much as a single copy for my efforts. Still don't have a copy.

While I do not doubt that one bit, he is a mad muppet, who are you? You don't need to answer, we really should have an "introduce yourself" topic on this here forum!

Many collectors here I'm sure like to keep their anonymity, and that includes myself, but thanks for asking anyway. I'm just a passionate collector of '60s garage music, which is what ties me to this group. I'm also just one source out of many which the aforementioned used / stole from to make his large swathe of bootleg CDs, which were entirely copied from other compilations and other people's private collections with or without their permission. That's about it.
