Definitely looks better, Joey. I don't have the skillset to do something similar, though.

That correction is fantastic. WOW, those are 40 some years old. One picture had a date of Apr. 67. One of Gary's (Tonto) brothers came across 3 boxes of old photo's stuck away by his dad. We're hoping to find more. Those are only what they have found so far. That's an incredible job on the pic Joey.

Amazing. Very nice!
I seem to have the same problems posting comments as some other members of the forum had some time ago (I'm still not sure how I managed to do this one). What again was the solution for that problem?

Was it Firefox with the problem which they have since fixed with an upgrade in the browser. I use explorer and don't have any problems.

I just noticed that if you look you can see both "Leslies", one by Dave and Terry and one by Gary and me. Man, you could get some incredible sounds out of 2 of those with a Hammond B-3 through them. Each Leslie is wired independant of the other, too.

I just watched a video the other night of Chester Thompson (the keyboardist, not the drummer) with the Chester Thompson quartet where he had three, count em, three 122 Leslies lined up behind him and the drummer. BTW, very nice job on those photos, I like seeing those old band pics.

Thanks, Tom. Right, it was something like that. Guess I have to do an upgrade or something. As I found some way to post, I guess it will take me some weeks... I'm so fucking lazy with pc stuff...

Leslie...
We covered "Every Night A New Surprise" by the Moving Sidewalks lately. First without the lead guitarist, which wasn't bad for a start. I said: don't know how he will manage to create that solo guitar sound, I'll guess we'll just do it with fuzz.
Lead guitarist shows up next week. Says: no problem. That's a Leslie, I'm sure. We got one standing in that chamber behind the toilet. Thinks me: shit, that's gonna be even more stuff to carry.
He pulls out that thing, plays the solo and we're all in a different world for 30 seconds or so.The sound is spot and, well, pretty awesome. Especially when played live in a room. It's like some liquid filling the air.
Okay, but carry that stupid thing around just for 30 seconds of one stupid little song? thinks me and say: hey, I think for concerts a fuzz will do as well.
Total reaction: 3 other people jump up and proclaim themselves volunteers to carry the shit.
Man, am I glad to play with people as commited as that!
I'm so fucking lazy with equipment, too...

Oh yeah, I remember having to carry both those things and the B3 plus all the rest, big Sunn amps., the PA system, drums, guitars, man, we could have used a Roadie.

Pretty damn good, Frantic. The color of the drums and my Dad's jacket and Dick Wagners (with his back to the camera) shirt looks right, too. That is so cool to see these old pictures in this condition again. Thanks man.
