Great version, but it's not really a 'Non-garage artist doing garage' is it? The Troggs had a pretty full-on garage sound with lots of their releases

I totally agree with you Rythmn Boy, I was in doubt when posting but I did keep in mind that they also released quite a few ballads...
However as Graham Nash once said ”The Troggs are so far behind they are actually ahead”

I'm kind of fond of the Newbeats, yeah k the falsetto can shatter delicate glass like eardrums. Try the original by these hillbillIes. Can't remember which Britbeat band tackled this song... The searchers maybe?- It was The Tremeloes.

I seen Ol' Doug Kershaw over 40 years ago... he's a vicious fiddle player.
