Anyone know who won this? Ebay listing here.

I was hoping to get it and share it with the band, since they don't have a copy of their songs. The listing included clips of 4 songs, but the seller wouldn't confirm how many tracks were on the "acetate". Bummer.

Any idea of the time frame on this? I am assuming it's the same band the did "I Saw What You Did." Sounds like a couple of years after that 45 if this is indeed the same band.

They tell me it's late '67 early '68. Recorded at Dove Studio - Minneapolis, with involvement of Pete Steinway and Rich Gottehrer (Strangeloves).

While I am writing this, I found out who has it.......

It would have to have been from late '68 at the earliest, if it was intended for release on GRT records, as indicated on the label. GRT didn't start releasing records until early '69

I'm the won that won the acetate. The late '68 or early '69 timeframe is exactly what I guessed by listening to it, and have suggested that in my communication with Mike Mankey of The Olivers. As Tim stated, Mike has placed a '67 date on it, but thank you MTM for providing evidence that supports the later recording date. I didn't know the seller had added the sound samples prior to my bidding. I still probably would have bid, but I was hoping for sounds more along the line of 'I Saw What You Did.' Hopefully it's a full LP and more than just those four songs.
