I just received and email from Paypal saying they are going to start holding my funds for 21 days just in case there are charge backs or disputes. I though it was a fraud email at first until I called and they said that it was in fact true.
They said because of the Items I sell (records) and the infrequency of my listing items (Usually list Items 3 or 4 times a year) my account is flagged as higher risk.
I pointed out my 100% feedback and that I have been a member since Ebay went public in 1998 they said they would review my account and request that the holds be removed. Not more than a minute after they wasted 45 min with me on the phone I get a call stating that the hold is being removed!
Sounds to me like they are just trying all they can to keep as many peoples money for as long as they can! Bad sellers and Shady Buyers are defiantly dictating some of these changes. Has anyone else that sells records on the bay had this problem.
Also Joey thanks for the shipsaver ti. All my overseas packages now get insurance through them!
