Crypt's reissue of their sole MONSTER 45 will hit the store in a few weeks.

I would like to ask the Bosshoss if he's sitting on good sounding outtakes etc.
I have heard several of Psycho's live recordings and Filth demos, but in rather inferior
sound quality. Do the Boss have Psycho's outtakes in good shape?
I also wish Tim Warren would reissue the posthumous Lipstick Killers 45.
Any chances, Mark?

No Mikael, I haven't got anything. And I've never heard anything by the Psychosurgeons either. I have a tape of Filth, but it's probably the same that you have heard, very crude and barely audible. I'm amazed that you have heard any of that stuff.

I know everything about Aussie punk rock.

OK, no PS outtakes or better Filth recordings (Do The Harold Holt!!!) but what about the LK stuff?
I know there's plenty good sounding stuff (Rot In Love, Pensioner Pie, Dying Boys Crawl, Accidents etc). Would love to see a reissue on Crypt. No doubt in my mind that Tim wouldn't do it.

Filth = PRE Psychosurgeons!!

I've read that a few times recently, but they weren't pre-Psychosurgeons. They started up at least 6 or 8 months after us. Peter Tillman was still in school with Martin Joyce and Elvio when the Psychosurgeons were playing. They saw us at the Funhouse and started a school band called West Coast Live. Started coming in to White Light records and hanging out. Psychosurgeons supported West Coast Live at their end-of-year school break-up dance 1977. After that Pete, Martin and Elvio joined Bob Short to form Filth. Bob Short was a 17 year old kid who hung at White Light, went to all the Sydney punk shows and more or less lived like a vagrant. Filth toured Adelaide supporting the Psychosurgeons, but the bass player Elvio was not allowed to go, so I played bass for Filth on the tour, as well as playing guitar in the Psychosurgeons. Filth were banned everywhere on the tour, and only lasted max 10 minutes on stage before the power was pulled.

Sorry Marc, I have no spares left. Chances are I will come across someone selling or trading sooner or later, and I'll let you know if I do.

Thanks for replying! Bummer there's none left. Not surprised , though. I actually located a copy in Holland, but the asking price of $800 is a bit much for my taste... Someday...
