I don't know about you guys but I loved him. I pretty much love everything he ever recorded. he also co-wrote one of the greatest girl group songs ever, Egyptian Shumba by the Tammys (1963) R.I.P. Lugee.

Lou had so many great 'buried' tracks like "Guitars and Bongos", "Have I Sinned" and "Outside The Gates Of Heaven". I saw him perform live at an oldies show circa 2008 and he still could hit all the high notes and dress like a suave Pittsburgh Mob Consigliere. Mark Lindsay, Gary Lewis and Billy J. Kramer just stood there awestruck as he blew them off the stage (and they were all pretty great that night too). R.I.P. Lou.
