Saw Mike during the Monkees tribute with Peter and Micky in 2012 after Davy Jones passed away. He looked kinda frail even then. He underwent heart surgery last year. Had to postpone his tour with Mickey Dolenz til this past summer. It just finished a month or so ago.
He wrote some classic tunes including my fave, "How Can You Kiss Me"
