great singer and personality.

I always hoped that the Detroit Cobras would return to the greatness of their first three 45s and the first album. Their later stuff is too slick and pop/rock, even though greg c. had a hand in it. nevertheless, even with the later tracks, her presence is out of this world.

RIP. She (of course) inspired me to compile the "Song We Taught the Detroit Cobras" double disc many years ago.
I was, however, even more inspired by the groups they covered. Great gal.
