Did this killer track ever surfaced on a comp? Definitely should!
The description of the video gives us this: The Statesmen were a very popular R&B/Rock dance band of the 60's in the Nortwest region of the country, based in Tacoma WA. They were often booked at Pat O'day's regional dance hall tours, which eventually evolved into the world wide concert promotion company, Concerts West. This was their first recorded effort with their new lead singer, Stacy Christenson. Stacy brought some lyrics and a bass part and the rest was filled in admirably by the band. RIP, "the ever popular and oft times controversial"....Mark Reeder.
