Even worse, It's actually from 2007 based on the United Pressing matrix (U-63892-M). Two seconds into the tune I thought "late-'90s garage/punk glut" but 'Scogs provided the matrix range.

It's a decent effort, but it makes you appreciate what a great band the Esquires were, and how superior the 60s bands were, as well as the recordings. In general, most modern re-makes have that effect.
