Sonics Inc. info I've found and it's validity

Possibly this info is old news,or even wrong but here it is:

I've found mp3 files of several songs by the Sonics Inc. I've also found 4 photos of the band. I was told 3 of the 4 photos were used for picture sleeve covers.
The song list is as follows:
SP 0001 Marshall / You Don't Hear Me
SP 0002 Louie Louie / Johnny B Goode
SP 0003 Diddy Wah Diddy / Nobody To Love

View attachment 160 Comparing the vocals and guitar styles / sounds to the famed Diddy Wah Diddy 45, they sound like the same band to me,hands down. The interesting thing regarding the Diddy Wah Diddy & Nobody To Love recordings,is that they sound DIFFERENT than the record used on the Teenage shutdown and BTTG comps. Unless some found a better way to get rid of background noise,I feel these recording were taken from a different record and are superior,at least to me.

Does this line up represent the Sonics Inc?

Is this all old news to the collecting community?

I would be interested in hearing any comments from anyone who cares to add anything.

I found these recordings while looking and searching to complete my silly goal of finding all 200 recordings from the G100 list for my ipod.
I've found 181 of them now,thanks to kind collectors.
I'm more than happy to share any mp3 files and the photos with those who ask, and I welcome anyone who is willing to share with me,the ones I cannot find.

It seems like they were big in Thailand. Looking at Don Washburns Facebook site, he lived there in 1966.
They also issued at least one 45 there.

The guys all attended school in Thailand, as their parents all had govt or govt related jobs which relocated them overseas for a certain amount of time. The group was not from Florida.
Each of the members came from a different state in the USA. And the group started long before the Beatles / Brit Invasion era. There were many members during the course of the group's existence.

All of the recordings were done in Thailand, and all three came with picture sleeves. There were other recordings but none were issued as singles.

I'm finishing up a detailed article on the group for publication. It has taken many years to piece details together and get everyone on-board. I'd appreciate it if the rest of you would not resort to bugging ht e listed folks here for your own "interview", as I've seen this occur with other groups.

There are no 45s waiting to be sold off, either. Lord knows I've tried. Classmates are the likely sources to turn up copies. There are master tapes of all the recording sessions and a few live performances. I have made efforts to get the stuff released, but there are legalities and ethics involved, as you would expect.

I'm curious to know how Darren got these songs, as I made a CD dub for Chris a few years ago, as he didn't have any of the records.

That's gonna be worth a read I'm sure Mike. I'm guessing they added the "Inc." to put out Diddy Wah Diddy when they got back and found out they weren't the only Sonics around! I guess Mike will reveal all in due course....

They were never known as the Sonics Inc. They were the Sonics, established in 1962.
The Inc. was just printed on the label because of legal law required (Inc, Corp, etc.)
The group members were unaware of any other groups with that same name.
