Hello to all of you again!

The old website seems to be unaccessable for the moment, so I though I would put my "want" list of mp3 tunes I would like to have to complete my project of finding all 200 tunes from the G100 list.
I would like to thank all of those folks who have been so kind to help me out. I am still very happy to share the tunes I have to anyone who asks. Here's what I do not have:
Denise - Chaos*
Greg Barr & The Barr Association - Another Boy*
By Fives - That's How strong My Love Is*
Just Too Much - Come Back*
Botumles Pit - My Girl*
Shepherd's Heard - But That's Life*
Vectors - It's Been A Day Or Two(St.Lawrence version)*
Blue Condition - Lost Love*
Fugitives - Loney Girl*
Wanderers - I Feel So Blue*
Sounds Unlimited - To Be In Love*
Scorpio Tube - White Birches
Chentelles - Time*
Runaways - Your Foolish Ways
Inferno - Girl,Girl*
Sound Extraction - Tina
Savages - You're On My Mind*
Reasons Why - Melinda*
Ascendors - My Friend*

* means a label scan would be very nice to have as well
This is just a personal project that I started almost 2 years ago now.

For those who collect/appreciate/listen to rare 78's. I have managed to find practically ALL the recordings that were issued on the Black Patti label out of Chicago with the exceptions of ones that are thought not to exist(yet). Black Patti records were only released for about 6-7 months in 1927.They are all very rare. Some being MUCH rarer than others.I also have label scans for most of them too. There's some pretty killer blues on a lot of these.

Thanks in advance to anyone who wishes to help out with my project.

My compliments to the folks who created this site. It's very nice!

I finally had a spare evening to attend to this request. Sorry it's taken so long Darren.
The tunes and scans below will reduce your quest to a single task...to find the elusive flipside to Just Too Much on M-Gee. Good luck with that one!

WOW!

That's a fantastic share. Thank you very much Mark!

I know it was Darren's request, but I'm also appreciative of this :)

Thank you Mark! I for one will be spinning these for the rest of the weekend.

Now I'm just waiting for these tracks to be availible on vinyl, most likely on Dogshit '66 vol. 2...

There's one that Darren didn't mention that I've been curious to hear for a long time now.

Would it be possible to include "Delirium - I Need Your Lovin (Vibra)" to the list, or is that one unavailable?
It is available. Please check here in 24 hours, I have to go to bed now.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark,I don't know what to say....yes I do!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This request is SO much appreciated!
I'm not at my home computer right now so I cannot download anything at the moment. I can't wait to get home and check this out! I'll be listening to this for the whole weekend!!!!
Mark, this site is so great and I am glad I am a part of it. I've made some great friends here, and enjoy reading and participating in this hobby and forum.
I hope I can find a way to return the favour to you or to anyone else who I could help with a request.
THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers,
Darren

i've been listening to these all day! What a way to make a great weekend!
I would like to thank Mark again, and the many other friends who have helped and contributed to this great list of songs!
ONLY ONE MORE TO GO!

I just moved this topic here to the Secret Society, because it really belongs here. The normal total secrecy provisions don't really apply to these downloads, because they've already been available in the main forum.

Good idea Mark. I agree it belongs here.

As far as the music goes: COOL STUFF!

Some were actually pretty good. Shepherd's Heard, The By Fives, hell, even The Sound Extraction and their doo-wop like ballad "Tina" wasn't too bad. Also, I had no idea the flip to the Denise & Co. 45 was basically an instrumental ver. of "Boy, What'll You Do Then". Neat!

Hearing "The Botumless Pit" cover "My Girl" was funny ;)

Again, thank you for sharing these with us.
Respect

M.

"I Need Your Lovin" is pretty cool. After hearing it however, I'm surprised it didn't pass as "garage" on the gyro series. Only the b-side was featured?

This is the one I've been dying to hear for such a long time, so again, thank you for sharing it Mark. I can finally shut up about it now

Mario.

I had the only known copy to date of the Delerium 45 - discovered it, actually, in the mid '90s. A now deceased local doo-wop collector found it in a box of doo-wop 45s he purchased, and traded it to me. I had it for awhile, but then traded it to J.J who ended up dealing it to BossHoss. Other people like it more than I do, I guess.
Gyro didn't have the 45 when he made his CD recordings, and I traded the Delerium 45 before I started bringing my 45s over to his house for dubs to CDs.

Ahhhh, I see!
