I meant to post this here. Sorry for the double post...

The old website seems to be unaccessable for the moment, so I though I would put my "want" list of mp3 tunes I would like to have to complete my project of finding all 200 tunes from the G100 list.
I would like to thank all of those folks who have been so kind to help me out. I am still very happy to share the tunes I have to anyone who asks. Here's what I do not have:
Denise - Chaos*
Greg Barr & The Barr Association - Another Boy*
By Fives - That's How strong My Love Is*
Just Too Much - Come Back*
Botumles Pit - My Girl*
Shepherd's Heard - But That's Life*
Vectors - It's Been A Day Or Two(St.Lawrence version)*
Blue Condition - Lost Love*
Fugitives - Loney Girl*
Wanderers - I Feel So Blue*
Sounds Unlimited - To Be In Love*
Scorpio Tube - White Birches
Chentelles - Time*
Runaways - Your Foolish Ways
Inferno - Girl,Girl*
Sound Extraction - Tina
Savages - You're On My Mind*
Reasons Why - Melinda*
Ascendors - My Friend*

* means a label scan would be very nice to have as well
This is just a personal project that I started almost 2 years ago now.

For those who collect/appreciate/listen to rare 78's. I have managed to find practically ALL the recordings that were issued on the Black Patti label out of Chicago with the exceptions of ones that are thought not to exist(yet). Black Patti records were only released for about 6-7 months in 1927.They are all very rare. Some being MUCH rarer than others.I also have label scans for most of them too. There's some pretty killer blues on a lot of these.

Thanks in advance to anyone who wishes to help out with my project.

My compliments to the folks who created this site. It's very nice!

Isn't the flipside to the "Just Two Much" 45 a cover of "Them" classic "I Can Only Give You Everything"?

At least that's what I've seen.. Also, the Vectors track can be heard through the amazing Gyro series.

As for the others, well, I myself am curious as to what they sound like. I recently made a similar suggestion over on another post. Hopefully some of these can be part of the BTTG project I mentioned to MopTopMike about. I've already started to make a list of possible candidates. Some of the ones you noted here have already been included. Since I've never heard them, I'm purely going by with what I've read in the G100 list. Judging by Mike's reviews, they must be bad, or either dull at the very least. In some cases they might just be instrumental's that ain't nothin' special. I think it would be fun to compile these as a bunch, to showcase the dark side of what these bands COULD sound like when they weren't vomiting garage style rock. Only time will tell if people on here are willing to participate, considering the rarity of these.

The Gyro series of CD download comps was done by my good pal Pete in NY, probably 6 years ago. He used analog to digital dubs directly from my 45s, along with his own 45 collection. He posted them on the Twilight zone blog. Use of some songs without bandmember permission caused the whole thing to be derailed, not sure if the comps and the links are still valid. Pete had over 200 CDs worth of 45 dubs. The vast majority were songs already issued on comps, but the sound is much better coming from the 45

MopTopMike:
Thank you so much for sharing your collections of great tunes in the past (as mentioned in the above blog)and present.

Thanks so much for the heads up on the blog. I would have never found this stuff without both of you.

All I can say to that list of songs is WOW!!!! (dropping of tongue onto floor sound at this point) I was able to find the Vectors - It's Been A day Or Two on St. Lawrence to add to my G100 list.
THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!!!
17 more to go :)

I can do the Runaways song. From memory it is dull country.

Hi Michael,
In my infinite stupidity, I misread your message thinking you were referring to the "Wanderers" b-side track.
I would be very grateful if you could send it to me at your convenience.I have not actually found it yet.
Thanks in advance,
Darren
