I just finished reading the book. It could have done with a bit more proof-reading and the photographs are ridiculously small, but it is definitely worth having. Graeme Brown inteviewed many people and there are some good anecdotes to be enjoyed. I particularly liked Tony Worsley's recollection of recording his third album; arrive at the studio at 4.00 pm, sift through a pile of recent 45s that had not received any attention from local deejays and select some favourites. Blue Jays learn the music and lay down a backing track, Tony learn the lyrics and put down the vocals. Continue this process until there are enough tracks for an LP. Finish up at 9.00 am the next morning and go home. Easy.
