I've been doing a search to find out who did the illustration that adorns the covers and labels of the Teenage Shutdown series, but can't turn anything up on the internets. I know I've come across the information somewhere before, but foolishly didn't make note of it. I've tried searching this forum, but have come up empty handed.

You know the one I mean: the kid with the ball and chain and the flies buzzing around him. I know the artist, who I think was/is female, also did other documented illustrations. Can anyone help out with information on this artist?

Becky Schiro was the artist. She was 15 or 16 at the time. She did the artwork for other Sacramento dance posters in the mid 6ts. Her husband Gary Schiro managed PUBLIC NUISANCE, NEW BREED, OXFORD CIRCLE and a few other Sacramento bands. A photo of her is in the NEW BREED CD booklet.

Yes! Thank you so much. I wonder if her family licenses her work?

Thanks again for the hip tip!
