Fuck the sound is amazing. Straight out the mixing desk is usually bad but holy moly these support bands are really warming up the house.

Here are a few 45 sides as released by Johnny Chester and Johnny Devlin. Three other noteworthy early/mid '60s rockin' greasers from Australia were Johnny Cooper, Colin Cook and Merv Benton. Naturally all these guys output was extremely variable...

Sorry but I wouldn't scream for Johnny Devlin, that's a really plastic C'Mon Everybody, and What'd I Say not much more feeling. I'll bet they dubbed in some of the screams from the Beatles set or something...
