The Bougalieu?

The blog looks GREAT, Jeff. It will take a while to read all that you've posted to date. Looks like the Mailing List option isn't working, however - it'd be cool to receive updates on the latest postings.

Thanks Mike. The mailing list option isn't set up yet, but will be soon.

I was in Bougalieu for much of it's life as rhythm guitarist/vocalist. I'd like to hear the live recording Greenfuzz has.

I sent this to you years go, Bill, along with your singles songs on a homemade CDR....

Oh, Wow. As we use to say. The Bougalieu live set that is out there is on cassette. Many generation copies old I assume. It was recorded December 1, 1967 at Rafael's in Latham, N.Y. Pictures from that exact gig are on the website.
I have the original reel to reel tapes. They were transferred to cassette in the 80's by a guy at The Music Lab in LA. For some bizarre reason he edited all the great intros and raps between songs by Parker Kennedy which were in themselves worth the price of admission. I plan on redoing the recording uncut on CD in the future. You can feel the excitement in the air that night. Our 45 was in the WTRY top ten. It was an unforgettable gig.

Welcome, Larry. An uncut CD would be great to hear one day.

Still waiting...
Sancho,
The reel to reel tapes are MIA right now. I have moved several times since 1967. I would be glad to send you a copy of the cassette. Like I said , the great Parker intros are edited out. But the music roars. Post your address. Or whatever.
