Yes. They were from Homestead, Florida, led by Ronnie Buro. When Buro graduated and moved to New Orleans (to attend Loyola College there), he started a new group that also recorded "One And Only" (plus two other singles). They needed a name, and remembering the popularity of the now-defunct Canadian Legends back in Miami, he decided to use THEIR name. So the Canadian Legends 45s on White Cliffs and Polar were not by the real Canadian Legends, but by the a band fronted by the leader of the Chessmen from South Florida.
I don't think the 45 is particularly valuable -- $25, perhaps.
