The Crees 4 acetate

I must admit that I did speed up one of the unreleased tracks on the SO COLD!!! CD that I released.

And why not, if it sounded better. Since the song was never published before, the decision was in your hands. Even the Beatles sped up and slowed down their records if they felt like it. I wish my turntable had variable speed - if I felt in the mood, I would use it.,

Somehow it has been inferred privately that I am disparaging this Crees Mojo-Bone release. Such is not the case AT ALL.
To be CRYSTAL-clear, here is my opinion:

The front cover - I completely disagree with this artistic approach. I told Bob so when he unveiled it and asked my opinion. But the decision to go ahead had already been made regardless of whether I agreed with the design, or not.

I believe the manipulation of the original photo, coupled with the over-saturated colors in my view are not relevant and do not compliment the audio tracks. A design that replicates something that would have been done by 1966 standards is, by far, a better design.
I also do not agree with any psychedelic implications.

I don't know how much Bob paid his graphics guy, but divide the total sum by 1 and you will get the amount he overpaid, IMO, judging by the visual result.

I think everyone will be pleased with the audio, that is what really counts.
