Anyone happen to know if the second 45 by Lubbock's Heart Beats- "Satisfied" / "Everywhere"- was actually released? If so what's the label?

http://www.cicadelic.com/heartbeats.htm

this one and "time won't let me" are two superb garage pop tracks. the video is just hillarious, with revere and lindsay obviously too horny to ask straight questions. the drummer licking her lips is one of the hottest moments i've ever seen in a 60s clip. if i remember well, she's only 13 at that time.

not to mention THREE vox guitars. generally, it surprises me that a lot of mid 60s garage combos are equipped with top gear. of course you see silvertones or danelectros or kays, but also lots of ricks or voxes, gibsons, epihones. where did those brats get the money from?

I may be wrong, but I don't think that gear was so expensive back in the day(?)

& it seems like the cute drummer's "tongue trick" has all been planned according to the zoom effect... lucky boyfriend ;)

in the mid-sixties, you'd have to shell out between 700$ and 1200$ for a VOX continental. big bucks.

whoa, that much? then things haven't changed... farfisa compacts used to be cheaper though

well, farfisas were slightly cheaper, but not much. here's a price list from 1969: a combo deluxe for 825$, the duo for 1025$. even the mini set you back 525$. you'd have to mow lots of lawns.

damn! thanks for the ad... can't believe I've just paid half the original price for my deluxe!!!

Cute expressions and instrument prices aside, the most important question (in my world) remains...

What label did the second single come out on and does anyone have a scan?

no, that's the first one. i never saw a trace of the second one, but the feature on cicadelic suggests it was released, in 1970.
