The (Spectral) Phog 1967
Larry Hosner (drums), Bruce Hosner (lead guitar), Marc Bristol (bass), Doug Hodges (rhytm guitar), Darwin Leathers (lead vocals).
While searching for info on The Jaguars of It's Gonna Be Alright (killer!) fame, I found out who wrote the song in Catalog of Copyright Entries, Third Series. Part 5: Music Jan-June 1966: Vol 20 No 1 Sec 1-2.
Which in turn led me to the website of one Marc Bristol, where I found the picture of The Phog above.
I assume The Phog must be a later incarnation of The Jaguars.
