Looking for a VG+ or better copy of THE MAUVE "You've Got Me Cryin'" b/w "In The Revelation" (Cori 31006). Anyone?

one forum member has two copies but can't decide which one sounds better, so he's keeping both for the moment. Hope he'll remember who asked first once he decides ;-)

I was asking for the 45, not the price . Gee, that's even more then the amount for a M-/M- Sandy Coast "Subject Of My Thoughts"... I think it's better not to ask for a record on this forum. It reduces my chances to zero. I wish I was there last year when a VG- copy of FeeBay went for a miserable $67.

Bad news: VG+ copies (or better) are exceedingly difficult to find, but
Good news: lower grade VG- do appear occasionally, and don't sound that bad!

The Mauve is extremely difficult to find, most of the time copies that do surface are less than VG. Never found in any quantity to my knowledge; band members contacted did not have copies. Been trying to upgrade from a strong playing / clean VG for over 20 years.
Shyres - same deal, although not quite as difficult to find as the Mauve 45. Both 45s undervalued in the Wickham price guide, IMO.
All the other sides on Cori are not too hard to find - meaning they still surface from time to time out here in the wilds. I've had VG++ / mint minus multiple spares of all the other garage sounds - CC & Chasers, Sole Survivors, Riffs, Royals and Valkyries, and the End (on Insegrevious, but is actually a Cori label release).

I found 3-4 copies of this record including a M- one that was probably never taken out of the sleeve at a garage sale in the band's hometown. It was findable when I lived in Mass, everyone I knew who collected garage had a copy. However, 20 years is a long time and probably not relevant. The Capitol custom pressings (done at Scranton, I think) held up well. I still may even have an extra copy of the Mauve record that I bought in the past five years for cheap, but I might be confusing it with the Royals. The Valkyries is under $50, $30 is probably a reasonable market price.
