The missing USA Garage Greats volumes

I'd like to get the vols I am missing. If we can get together the whole series together somehow, I will add some bonus volumes to make things interesting (with helpful suggestions/vetos from all members)...
:D

Have two suggestions, put up a web page (for example Gyrocomps.com) and then upload all titles in order with their respective download links. Or maybe a single topic thread with the entire series in numerical order here in the forum with mediafire links. That way we could have easy access to the whole series.

I took the liberty of adding the entire list of Gyro's comps to Phil Istine's original post at the top of this topic, for ease of reference. I hope that's ok Mr. Istine...

all these comps in one place would truly one of the best things the internet has ever produced!!! my computer was unable to accomodate all these at the time.

huge props to Gyro & Moptop for uploading these in the first place. sound quality is great and fills the gaps for all those much loved songs on Pebbles and Boulders that got the lo-fi treatment.

I downloaded a few of these Gyro comps but got bored....there was just too many all at once. He should have made them a weekly download to build up anticipation etc.

These were MP3s and not FLACs right? Were they at 320kbps or lesser quality? From the ones I listened to they were sullied by pops and clicks etc but I suppose better than most of the Pebbles/Boulders product.

No flacs - all were 256 or 320.

It'd be cool if I could get a page up with all the Gyro/MTM-stuff and the old forum-comps made by Boss, Masterbeat, Expo and all other 'good-doers' (as X-Pres Bush would've put it..as opposed to 'evil-doers' who fly planes into buildings and permit general evil).

If such a thing ever comes to fruition, I wouldn't mind sharing all the old forum / garagepunk.com stuff. I pretty much collected it all when it was still available. :)

While people are on the topic of trying to retrieve old comps 'n' such, is there anything anyone has been looking for specifically?

Like I said, I was around to download most of those private CDR / forum comps back in the day. So if there's something somebody is looking for that's long gone, let me know. I might be able to post it for you ;)
