Hey, folks. I've just completed a long-form interview/history with all five of the Monteras, who recorded a (great) single for Orlyn in 1967. The band had a stack of fantastic photos, some of which I was lucky enough to share in the piece. In addition, both songs from their 45 now have song clips on da YooToobz.

Last weekend, I attended a reunion of the five original Monteras, who hadn't played together since early 1968. It was pretty mind-blowing, actually. They were nice enough to ask me to bring an electric guitar along and play with them. It was really something to play "You're a Tease" and "Cry Myself to Sleep" with the band that did them. You all know how much these bands are blown away by the idea that people still listen to them now, and the Monteras are no exception...
