As requested by Derf... these guys were from Odessa, Jal, Kermit, and Andrews... story to come at LoneStarStomp.

The blonde haired guy in the lower left corned played bass, briefly, in the Knights Bridge. The guy in the lower right is Bob Simonetti of Bob & His Agents ("One Sided" on AOK). Upper left is Tome Rehders. All of these guys are extraordinarily nice. Bob is MIA or passed on though.

all cool photos if they didn't have the westex logo super-imposed over them!!!

Do you ever find AOK promo photos "in the wild" or do you get/borrow them from the bands/relatives?

Cool Thanks Westex. I can see why you might not dig it MTM. The Highs in the Mid Sixties Texas volumes were some of the first regional comps I bought back when they came out. Perhaps that is why I like that one so much, I can't help it I love "Tired of Living" and was happy when I got a copy of the 45. OK Westex any pics of Terry & Tommy? It took me 20 years to track down a copy but I love that AOK 45 too!

Did they record anything else? Any unreleased stuff?

No, I don't believe so.

I did get clips of the original Roadrunners doing two Stones covers this weekend. Recorded at AOK, but never released. I'll have that story up at LoneStarStomp in the next few weeks.

I'm not so sure Tommy and Terry were from here as nobody remembers them. MTM might know better. Would like to track down a copy of that 45 myself.

Please post here when it's online. I look forward to it.

Just got an email from Terry. Story to come... and at the rate I go that may be a year or two.

Working on it. I want to first finish off the original Roadrunners story and then come back with the New Roadrunners.

I'm not the fastest writer and a couple of hours on 3 or 4 paragraphs is not a stretch.
