The Official Quantity Find list

Spotted a few missing 45s from the list:

Bram Rigg Set (Kayden) quantity find of 50 unplayed copies in the late 1980s.
5,000 were pressed on the orange label stock copy, so it isn't rare by any stretch...

Catalinas - Coco Cherry Mash - at least 25 near mint copies back in the late 1980s, Tom S. had these on his auction / set-sale lists.

Lemon Drops - I Live In The Springtime - at least 25 NM copies (late 1980s) all of the no drum and no bass mix, Tom had these on his list as well, where I bought mine for $15

Clock Work Orange (Creole) - Your Golden Touch 10-15 (note- my copies obtained and posted are in addtion to this total)

Fourth (at least) NM copy of GRAINS OF TIME sold today - at considerably more than the three earlier BINs or the G45 oracle calculation. Anybody knows the score here? Larger find?

Iguanas - Black Suit (Valerie) 50

When did this happen?!! I never saw a copy of this record for sale in the 1990s.

I found a box of 50 copies of Neal Ford and the Fanatics' "Don't Tie Me Down" in unplayed condition, but these never came to market (I still have the box). Not sure if that counts.

I hope so. I think I came in second or third in today's auction.

Legendary Florida mail-order record dealer who sold by the name of Florida Rocks found the quantity of the Iguanas "Black Suit", he told me he had two 25 count boxes. Needless to say they went pretty fast, I bought one of the last copies in 1988 according to my notes....

I never knew that. Whoever bought them kept them.

Vestells (Bojo) - (100 or more)
Saw these at Double Decker in Allentown yesterday, I'd say no more than 15-20 left. All or most of this load had hairline/internal cracking, but it's hard to discern on many of them. $30 on discogs, maybe a little cheaper if you're in person at the shop and ask for one (they're not on public display).

Glass Sun, both 45s, amount not known based upon copies offered recently (2018).
Ebay seller rollin7, the guitarist for the group, has been offering unplayed copies of both singles on ebay. I placed a bid for "Silence Of The Morning" and won it for $285. However, just after the auction ended, two copies were placed by another seller (his brother?) as buy it now items for $99 and $75 respectively, both unplayed in the custom printed sleeves.
Ii contacted rollin7 saying it was rather dishonest to sell multiple copies at the same time for varying ( much less) amounts and he responds that I still got a great deal since copies have sold for over $400, check youtube, etc...(Y.A.W.N.).
for the first time, I am refusing to make payment on a completed auction.

Bob Stricker had many copies of both of those singles back in the day, although not very many with the custom sleeves. While demand has driven up the price, it's not a hideously rare record. With a little patience you should be able to score one more reasonably without the controversy. Band members selling their old records on the internet is kind of a by-product of the technology age, unfortunately. That's how all the copies of the Chevrons V on Nook hit the market.
