Just gave it a spin. I like it.
It's crude, primitive, somewhat less than adept, definitely sounds like a bunch of kids. It's covers, as you can see from the titles, though I'm not familiar with the last song on the first side (She). I'll have to ask if it's original or not.

Want to see if I can safely clean it, then will be making a burn. It's in pretty nice shape for something that had been sitting on my cousin's record shelf for over 50 years. He told me about it over 20 years ago but took until now to pull it out & bring it to me.
He knew them growing up; still friends with the bass player who gave him the promo sheet.

I thought that was a possibility but I’d think everyone here would be familiar with that song. It’s definitely one of the Monkees’ best.

It's about a minute longer than the original, a little slower but much cruder (& no keyboard).
