The TRODDEN PATH

That's super-exciting Mike Frommer contacted you. I love their stuff and their single has been on my want list for a frustratingly long time. I'm a perennially 2nd place finisher on copies sold on the 'bay--grrr.

Like you, I'm curious to know who did In This World I Need Love. I think that's one of the strongest tracks on the comp and can't believe it didn't get pressed back in the day. Those Ace CDs of Cuca material screwed up at least one other attribution I know of--I guess Jim Kirchstein's paperwork was a little spotty....

I love 'Don't Follow Me' it's one of my favourite 45s... I love the faux english accents.

I have yet to buy those Cuca story cd's although i've heard great things.

Totally.... one of the great garage singles!!.

Speaking of 'ENGLISH SOUND'.... are you familiar with both The Wild Flowers and The Solid Ground from Phoenix AZ??

Totally 'English'!!!

It's a very cool single but Mike Frommer told me he always thought the third song they tried in the studio was their best. I disagreed and told him 'Don't Follow Me' was genius and one of my favourite teenage beat sides ever IMO. They were all only 16/17 year old kids, still at school and wore Beatles wigs.

At least this third and previously unreleased song can be heard on the Cuca CD
