A friend in the record collecting community had his storage locker hit.
They stole boxes and boxes of Cajun 78 and 45 rpm records.
If Nicky had it, the record would be excellent condition.
There are prewar Columbia and Brunswick 78s, as well as postwar 78s such as GoldBand, Khoury's, Lyric and Feature 78 rpm shellac records. There were also many boxes of 45s. Mostly Louisiana labels.
It was large volumes of both 78s and 45s.
A storage locker full.
Please spread the word.
There were other items stolen.
A very large Jax Beer sign was also taken.
This occurred in the Lafayette, La region.
We are in between Houston and Baton Rouge, on Interstate 10.
If anyone hears of this type of stuff being "sold" please let me know.
