A Studio Producer passing his own song around?
Wouldn't be the first time that's happened (see the "Steven Scott Orchestra" as proof)...A Studio Producer passing his own song around?

no clue, and I'm afraid with that pointless drumming Ginger Baker style, the Black Sabath guitar riff and the lame ass singer it's a real torture .. thx for posting nevertheless!Anybody know this one?'

LOL! Thanks for listening either way! Admittedly not exactly G45central fare! That singer is so laughably wussy for the sound of the band.no clue, and I'm afraid with that pointless drumming Ginger Baker style, the Black Sabath guitar riff and the lame ass singer it's a real torture .. thx for posting nevertheless!

a perfect candidate for a next lost US Garage comp!Anybody knows who's the lucky owner of this killer? Or has a complete rip of this track?

Could you please re-post this link? Thanks. This should be a joy for collectors but a pain in the ass of the archivist. Scratchy tunes from worn-out acetates, mostly from the US (I guess), with no clue on groups’ names and hardly an idea about song titles. I’m still wondering why the gems collected here didn’t make it to vinyl. *)
Surprisingly, the overall audio quality ain’t that bad at all, and moreover, something like magic happens (to quote our DJ Berta, don’t miss her!) as the mould and the dust clutched to the grooves sometimes give the nearly 50 years old artifacts a trippy, intensifying extra-kick (as on the instro track and on “My Girl Jill”). Not surprisingly the booklet to this comp doesn’t yield much of information. So here’s the challenge: I’ve added an "info-sheet" that can be returned after filling out some of the blank spaces. Any hint will be much appreciated, just don’t forget to state the source and your (nick)name. (I’ve put the original Youtube-links in the mp3-tags, but don’t expect to find much helpful information there). I will update the tracklist at http://michaelvee.livejournal.com every time a new list comes in. So don't mind the scratches and hiss, enjoy the show and help to shed some light in the darkest corner of the Garage! I promise I will pay full royalties once we know more about the artists and their exact address!
*) ...well, some did....

Thanks for the update.A few of the unknown tracks are taken off my Youtube page. I provided as much information as I could based on my own fact-finding efforts. Since most people prefer to have a working title, and not "Title Unknown", I provided some titles. After going through the downloaded set of unknowns, a couple of titles were "changed".
As I have logged these acetates & the details in TeenBeat Mayhem! already, someone else changing the title because they feel like it for some reason does nothing but add confusion and inaccurate results. So, for those of you who do the digital harvesting from other sources, at least try to be consistent and document what has already been provided by someone else.
Now, I can identify a few songs. I listened to them all once, these were immediately identifiable:
#4 "It's Your Son" by Thei Forest (see TeenBeat Mayhem! for info)
#5 an unknown group acetate I had and sold to BossHoss. It is logged in TeenBeat Mayhem as "That's OK With Me", and is how it should be documented until any confirmed info turns up. We can't have more than one surmised title going round the net...
#6 "I Got The Will"- the Fables (see TeenBeat Mayhem, and Beyond TeenBeat Mayhem for new info)
#13 "I Don't Know" -the Knight Riders, from San Carlos, California (from a master tape source, never issued, now found on a comp from Ace/BigBeat)
#17 another unknown acetate which i have on my youtube page. Surmised title is "When I Say", and should be referred to as such until confirmed info is found. (Will be in Beyond TeenBeat Mayhem)
Anybody knows who's the lucky owner of this killer? Or has a complete rip of this track?
