Various Fenton Records - The Michigan Legend

Has anybody heard of this 6 volume compilation? It has 114 songs compared to 61 tracks on the "Scream Loud" masterpiece.

Looks homemade yet someone managed to get their hands on 53 songs that weren't on the Scream Loud comp. Pretty impressive.

I know the Fenton catalog pretty well...and there is a lot of tepid and unexciting filler on those comps.

The one Fenton no one seems to have or has ever posted a clip of is The Pepettes "Pepette Rock". That's supposed to be an all girl group going a surf instro. I heard it many years go but it's nowhere online that I have ever found. It's also not on the five disc comp you posted.

I have this 45. It's a pretty solid surf-rock instro. The flip, "Flashing Lights" is a slower, country-tinged number. Good 45 overall, though, and certainly better than some of the obscure Fentons.
