We The People "My Brother The Man"...two different versions?

Are there two different pressings of We The People "My Brother, The Man" on Hotline with different guitar solos?


This version the singer says "all right" before the solo and it's more intense.

This version has no "all right" before the solo and the solo is more reserved and a bit more tame.

I have seen an actual 45 of this version and it has V 3680-A and a small etched symbol that looks like a palm tree in the dead wax.


Can anyone help provide any additional clarification or input on this?

The top video with the label scan is a rerecorded version cut in Nashvile at Bradley's Barn, likely for a Challenge label LP that never happened. It was not released on the Hotline label. Perhaps someone bootlegged this version with a Hotline label?
The bottom video is taken from the 45rpm version recorded in Florida (Miami, Jeff L. would know the studio and location for sure).

Both versions are included on the Sundazed “Mirror of Our Minds” CD set.

I would assume that’s where the YouTube poster sourced the second version of “My Brother…” from for their video.

IMO I do prefer the second version and the more aggressive solo.
