Hey,

Spike of Bedazzled and I are organizing a record fair in the little city of Hudson, NY, about 2.5 hours north of New York City, on October 11, to benefit the local radio station WGXC 90.7 FM.

There are one or two tables left at $50 per table if you're interested in selling at the show. Sundazed will be one of the 30 or so vendors. Here's the info:

Oct. 11, 2014: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

71 North 3rd Street,
Hudson, NY 12534

Admission: $3
Vendor tables: $50, we provide a 6' table

First annual fundraiser for WGXC Hands-on Community Radio, 90.7 FM will be held at the 2nd Ward Foundation in Hudson on Saturday, October 11 from 9 a.m - 4 p.m.

Approximately 30 vendors with an unbelievable selection of vinyl. WGXC will be selling $1 LPs and CDs all day, new boxes put out on the hour. Plenty of free parking in back of building. Food trucks.

More info at: http://www.wgxc.org/events/11910 or call (917) 653-2453

Sounds cool.
Would love to take a table, but I'm doing shows the week before and after and couldn't handle it (just getting too old - just recovered from FMU).
I will try to make it up to shop and support the station.

Hey folks, I hope some of you make it up to the show this Saturday. It should be a great one. Sundazed will be there with two tables and they don't do any other record shows except WFMU. Spike of Bedazzled and other local collectors will be selling.

I'll have plenty of garage 45s and if there's something specific you're looking for let me know. If you need any recommendations for places to stay, restaurants, bars, record stores, etc, just ask.

VHS is definitely still alive - players can be picked up for $5 and movies for .50 cents at any thrift store and plenty of (mostly terrible) titles are not on DVD or youtube.
