The garageness might be partly from the surface noise on the copy I listened to on YouTube, but yeah, it does sound garagey. I'd say the intersection is amongst R&B, Soul, and Garage, however. It's only the vocal which is somewhat soulish.

It wouldn't hurt, and I'd say it's more relevant that some of the songs you'll find in there - I'd find some examples if I had TBM on hand. Ultimately though, Mike has the responsibility and experience to determine what to include and exclude in order to keep the database wieldy and relevant.
